Bitmain<\/a>the world's largest manufacturer of ASIC<\/a> announced the creation of DAO, a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation, whose objective is to develop the ecosystem of ETC<\/a>which continues to use mining as a method of security and consensus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company's manager has stated that it is a non-profit organisation composed of FTE and POW (Proof Of Work) builders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement of Bitmain as a driver of ETHEREUM CLASSIC was made during the World Digital Mining Summit Global 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They already have a fund of USD 10 million, albeit split into USD 5 million in USDT and 5 million in ETC. This fund has one goal, which is to support specialist developers and programmers of Ethereum Classic software and cryptocurrency mining. It also involves the development and design of mining equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitmain's representative states: \"We want to introduce ETC at the highest level of intelligent blockchains that are based on PoW consensus, with high decentralised security and resistance to censorship\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consequences of ETHEREUM CLASSIC after Merge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bitmain has an interest in Ethereum Classic mining and its ecosystem, because of the recent ETH merger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ETHEREUM miners <\/a>were forced, after the Merge, to migrate to other networks, and ETHEREUM CLASSIC was the main network for them, receiving more than 150 TH\/s. In addition, it is the network with the highest number of Hashrate<\/a> o GPU mining participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitmain's interest is based on all the equipment it could develop in the future, as mining can be done with graphics cards (GPUs) or ASICs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
